The NextGrid Alliance (NGA) is a global peer utility network of over 150+ utilities, designed to address the energy sector’s toughest challenges through collaboration, shared insights, and co-innovation.
Utilities worldwide face common hurdles in advancing innovation, including explosive load growth, lengthy implementation timelines, limited resources, and barriers to collaboration with startups.
Our mission is to catalyze utilities to innovate faster, together, and at greater scale. By tapping into the collective intelligence of the industry, NGA members gain access to actionable insights and proven strategies and technologies that can drive meaningful progress.

The NextGrid Alliance's goal is to drive disruptive innovation for the utility industry. We achieve that by convening utility-only thought forums centered around core priorities to enable problem solving and foster strategic collaborations. Our 3 Working Group tracks are: Grid Modernization, Build out of Electric Networks and Integrated Energy Planning.
